Dr. Sarita Shrestha, M.D. (Ay) Ob/Gyn, BAMS has been teaching and consulting in the US and Canada since 2000. She devotes 3 months of her time each year to help integrate the wisdom and science of the 5,000 year old medical tradition of Ayurveda with the knowledge and practice of modern healthcare in the US.  The primary purpose of her visits is to demonstrate and promote the integration of eastern and western perspectives in sustainable healthcare through education and cultural exchange.

Her intention is to assist in increasing the awareness about Ayurveda within the general population and to help establish exceptional Ayurvedic training for the growing numbers of complementary healthcare practitioners.
